DMP Application Process
DMP (Debt Management Programme)
Application Process
Step 1: Public Briefing
Customers are encouraged to attend a briefing session to understand the services of AKPK.
After the briefing, customers wanting to join AKPK’s DMP may book to attend counselling sessions with AKPK's counsellors and prepare relevant documents required prior to attending the counselling sessions.
Step 2: Counselling
With the complete documentation, the customer attends a one-to-one counselling session with AKPK’s credit counsellor.
In this session, the credit counsellor will review and calculate the loan repayment amount should a payment restructuring be done.
Step 3: DMP Application
If agreeable with the proposed plan and payment amount, the customer is required to apply for DMP enrolment through the Online DMP application via the internet.
Step 4: First Payment
Upon completion of the Online DMP application, the customer is required to make the first payment to AKPK prior to the processing of his/her application.
Step 5: Confirmation of enrolment into DMP
Within one week from the date of receipt of the customer's first payment (estimated), AKPK will advise the customer in writing regarding the status of the application and notify the respective financial institutions accordingly.
