KUALA LUMPUR, 29 July 2008 – Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) officially launched the Agency’s new book, called “Money $ense-Getting Smart With Your Money” in Kuala Lumpur today. The Book was officially launched by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia and witnessed by Y.Bhg Dato' Mohd Razif Abdul Kadir, Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia. The Event was graced by representatives from the 11 IPTAs that have infused a module based on Money Sense into their respective curriculum.
They in hand, received copies of the Money Sense books and a token of appreciation from the Minister who, earlier in his speech, said that he hoped other IPTAs and IPTS would eventually infuse the Module into their respective curriculum.
Money $ense, a 138 page book of 8 illustrated chapters, is a simple, thought provoking guide, aimed at ensuring prudent personal financial management.
The book also put emphasis on being in control of finances regardless of one’s financial condition.
The book explains the various steps one should take at a very early stage of their life to achieve their financial dreams. It provides useful tips to manage one’s money and plan for the future.
